Casa editora musical francesa fundada en 1869, dirigida por el editor francés Auguste Durand y el editor alemán Louis Schoenewerk.
Desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad, ha sido una de las más relevantes en el ámbito de la música clásica y contemporánea, a lo largo de su existencia ha adquirido varios catálogos y realizado fusiones empresariales con otras editoriales de renombre.
En el año 2000, BMG (Bertelsmann Music Group) adquirió la empresa y se fusionó con Salabert, cuando pasó a llamarse Durand-Salabert-Eschig.
Los antecesores de esta última fueron: Éditions Salabert, fundada en 1878 por Édouard Salabert y Éditions Eschig, fundada en 1907 por Max Eschig.
Desde 2007, forma parte de Universal Music Publishing Group.
