History
Cura de Arauco desde antes de 1623, y desde esa fecha, canónigo de la catedral de Concepción por cuatro años. Hijo del capitán Alonso de Pereda y Ribera junto a Luisa Salas. Luego de su paso por la catedral de Concepción, se desempeño como canónigo de la catedral de Santiago entre 1641 hasta su muerte en 1650.
