En la vida social tocopillana, fue presidente del Club Rotario; médico ad honorem de la Caja Nacional de Ahorros, médico legista y matrón de la Municipalidad y del Seguro Obrero; miembro honorario del Honorable Cuerpo de Bomberos; presidente del Club de Boxeo; y un destacado masón que formó parte activa de la Logia “Unión y Esfuerzo” N° 85.
