Firma editorial alemana Aug. Cranz, fundada en Hamburgo en 1814. Abrió oficinas en Bruselas en 1883 y en Londres en 1890. En 1897 trasladó su sede a la ciudad de Leipzig en Alemania. En el transcurso de sus operaciones fue adquiriendo el catalogo y las colecciones de varías firmas editoriales de renombre para esa época, tales como los antiguos catálogos vieneses de Diabelli & Cappi, CA Spina, Pietro Mechetti y Böhme.
