History
Médico chileno, nació en Concepción en 1903. Su padre fue don Desiderio González, uno de los precursores de la fundación de la Universidad de Concepción.
Don Ignacio González G., fue Decano de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Concepción entre los años 1948 a 1955. Fue miembro Académico de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Chile y Rector de la Universidad de Concepción en el período de 1962 a 1968.
